Charlottesville sometimes is a tough place though. People here are forced to drive everywhere because there are very few sidewalks, and there is only one main road and all of the side streets dead end. It's very different from what I'm used to in Arlington and Blacksburg, where it is indeed possible to walk everywhere you need to go. It's halfway between Arlington and Blacksburg, and the attitude of people I've met seems to be split the same way... Sometimes I feel like life is moving too fast around here though, it's only been two weeks and everytime I go to drive anywhere I feel like I'm in somebody's way that has somewhere to be. Road rage takes on a new meaning here.
