Wardrobe Malfunction

I went to put on my big floppy blue peasant skirt today to discover that the elastic seems to be shot. I stretched it out, pulled it up, let it go, and it didn't snap back. And it's too stretched out to even just fake it and tie the waistband string tighter. I think the skirt is toast.

I put on the pink one instead, but it's not the same. :(
