Wow.

I mean... wow! What an awsome show! HIghly enjoyable, fantastic world, great characterisation, one of the best shows I've seen in a while! And all from what is meant to be a kids TV program. I am very impressed!

So... does anyone wanna enthuse with me? Or, better yet, can anyone direct me to some good fanfic for it please?

It was on Nicalodian, but it's ended now. I got it from a friend on Disk. If you can *ahem* find a way of watching it, I highly recommend it!

BRILLIANT show. The fandom is SCARY CRAZY though. Like, Harry Potter fandom crazy. I don't even bother with fic because the fandom bugs me and the show is just so dang rich, who needs fic? But that's just me.

Glad you found it. It really is an amazing show.

I think I know what you mean. I've been dabbling in and out of it, and I find myself agreeing. Although it really grabs my imagination, I don't think I could ever write fanfic for it. It's -too- good for fanfic, it fills in all the gaps too well. To add much else would just be exteranious. and that's no critisism of the show! It's just the way it is.

I love the fact it -ends- though. That it has a solid finishing point. I always respect shows like that.

I'm right with you on all of it. It is too good for fanfic... it just is so satisfying as is. And I love that the arc was planned out from beginning to end before they ever aired the first episode. It's why the story flows so well, because they weren't just feeling their way as they went. They set up all their pins before knocking them down. :)

I totally saw you commenting on Attackfish's journal, and I was like "wait... that name sounds familiar!" Do I know you from the X-men: Evolution and Trigun fandom, or am I mistaken?

Either way, I'll recommend some fics for you. :) Just tell me which characters appealed to you most! (I have like 800 Avatar fics tagged on my Delicious, so I've got to narrow it down a little bit...)

Yep! It's me! I'm not really writing much fanfic nowadays, but I still enjoy reading it. I quite like Aang actualy and yeah, Zuko too. But Zuko is a bit over done. I also love Iroh. I think you know the sort of fics I like, idealy one shots, but dark, psychological, hurt/comfort stuff is nice too. Just throw me some good ones. And it's great to see you again!
