I wrote a paper today! It's a very rough draft--full of holes and "blah blah blah"s. I really didn't know what I was talking about half the time. But this is my first paper in a new area, and filling in, fixing, and beautifying is always easier than getting that first draft down. By next week it could be a real, presentable paper. So there's a paper assigned or about to be assigned for the class I'm auditing.

The one part of me is all, "O! Let's write it, even though we don't have to! then I'll have something to submit with my application when I beg pitt, once again, to allow me to get higher education at its facilities!"

The other part of me says, "Uh, how likely is that, writing a paper I don't have to write that I can't even get a grade for?"

I don't know. but maybe if I go look at the assignment, I'll get inspired. WHEEE!

I mean, I wish I would, I just don't know if I will.
