I'm so glad that you thought this chapter was good as well! I don't know if it happens to everyone, but every time I reread a chapter before sending it I'm really dissatisfied and I always fear nobody will comment. o.O
Hmm, I'm didn't expose my insecurities in the A/N because I didn't want to bother people but you still get to read them, terribly sorry about that :o Plus I'm rambling. Basically I just meant that your comment is awesomely reassuring and that I love you rather a lot. Yeah, that's it.

Oh yay, new chapter! :D I've really been waiting for this, and its finally here. :) And it's so wonderful, I can't wait to read more.
But I have a question, how much time passed altogether since John became Sherlocks knight? Cause I remember Mycroft saying Sherlock can only keep his knight for.. two months? Did John prove himself with throwing himself at the bad guy, or will he have to do something more grand so he can stay? Okay I know this is actually more than one question, but I honestly can't help it, I'm so excited about this story, I just want to read more and more... and okay I'll shut up now. Enthusiastic comment is enthusiastic *hides*

Very good question; I did try my best to keep the timeframe coherent, but I'll have to go and check once more if I got it right. Basically at the beginning John has spent two weeks being annoyed and dejected, then he snaps, they spend one month having fun and sometimes being stabbed in missions. There are two weeks left until the marriage at the end of the chapter and a bit less than two weeks before Mycroft gets to decide whether John is useful as Sherlock's knight. Not going to say more, but this little bit of plot hasn't been forgotten, don't worry :p
