fic: the one where they spent the whole weekend in bed (part three of three) fandom: the social network pairing: mark/eduardo notes: for the tsn_kinkmeme prompt "That time at Harvard where they spent the whole weekend in bed."
Yaaaaaaaaaay! You're the awesome person who's been writing these awesome fics! I love them and this one is one of my favorite! It's so tender and heartbreaking all at the same time. You did an awesome job with it and I can't even begin to express my happiness!
Oh wow this was... Wow. I really love this! The humor is great, the characterizations are good, and the atmosphere is fantastic. Especially at the end, lovely.
On the Portuguese, i thought Saverin was only half Brazilian? Also, idk but I'm pretty sure it should be Oi instead of ola (on the phone), and mami is mamãe or just ma, and father papai (or also pai, I've just heard papai more). not sure about verdade, but you might want to use a phrase like Eu sou (i know) or ta bom (okay, that's good). Just going by how my brazilian boyfriend talks to his parents on the phone. :)
thank you so much! i'm glad you liked it. and on the portuguese- eduardo moved to miami when he was 13 and had to learn english then. i'm sure his parents do speak english, but it's sort of fun to make them speak portuguese, haha. and - most of my things are off google translate (not so reliable), except for mami which i just adopted as a term of endearment in many languages. he also speaks spanish, so maybe it's just from.. that. i'm not sure. thank you for the info!!! again, glad you enjoyed :D
This is so awesome! Hot, hot sex; sweet boys trying to pretend that they aren't; and hilarity, particularly every time Dustin and Chris show up. So good!
