This was perfection. If this ever really happened, I like to think it would happen just like this. With Mark gaining a reluctant soft spot for the kid -- and thus, remembering his soft spot for Wardo -- and then admitting it, only for the kid to disappear and throw him off completely as Real Wardo ( ... )

It was. In character, funny, sweet, sad at times, lovely all around.

Oh no, you managed to keep it very realistic. The only difference between crack and realism is moderation and in-character-ness and you grabbed both very well. Sometimes things that are so funny they're crack-y happen in real life, and sometimes there are things that break the reality barrier that can be written that way. You managed.

So I've been working my way through the kink meme, and, yeah, This right here? Is my favorite fic so far. I have a weakness for deaged fics, but this would be amazing regardless. They're all so perfect and in character and I just, uh. Wonderful.
