I TOTALLY feel this post. I always have that anxiety when I'm on road-trips that take me away from civilization. Honestly, I am a lot less anxious around Southern rednecks than Northern ones. I mean, I kinda know what to expect down South. Them peckerwoods in fuckin' Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois? Scare the SHIT outta me. And I hate to admit that as big bad Pro-Black, Power-to-the-People militant but ummmm...Let's just say I'd rather get lost in the backwoods of Tennessee than the open plains of Indiana ANY day.

Yeah, I want no parts of backwoods Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois. Indiana looks like the movie children of the corn, for real. Like I could swear, "they must have filmed that movie right here".

But yeah, the vast majority of people around these parts are going to be hospitalable and helpful. Now these might be the same people who swear up and down at the Confederate Heritage Festival that Obama's a
Muslim born in Kenya, and bent on destroying America; and that the rest of us are lazy free loaders just trying to live off of their tax dollar; but one on one they're usually fine. :D

It's always that one or two druks in a pick up, with a shot gun you gotta worry about. Plus the last time I was out in the rural south, this happened. Well not the last time. I've been out to the family church in country outside of Montgomery,Alabama; but that's familiar territory.
