No time to chat... stacking and racking
Most of the components for the new room are finally here. The rest are either unnecessary or are currently being built (take my word for it, nothing here is "off the shelf"). FWIW, this is all sitting on the main desk in the room (that's right, the VO will neither be recorded from a remote rack, nor will I be using a traditional FW interface like ( Read more... )

It won't work out perfectly... that's the nature of any recording studio, room, or setup I've ever designed, built, or was involved with.
It's as much of an art as it is a science.
It can be sickeningly frustrating, but the end result is always worth it.
