I could use that luck! I have taken part in 2 auditions recently... and I just feel like they're never going to use me for anything big... and I don't know if it's because I'm not doing a very good job or if they just already know who they want to use or what....

Who knows why someone gets a gig, and another person doesn't?

I try not to think about it too much unless it seems to be a trend (you'll drive yourself nuts). I just do the best I can, with what I have.

That said, I'm constantly training, performing, auditioning, etc. I'll be the first to admit that marketing isn't my strong point and it's the weakest part of what I do, but I'm working on it as best possible.

Bob Bergen put it simply as this: whatever the weakness is in your game, that's what is causing you to miss out on auditions. Strengthen that first and then re-assess. Otherwise, don't worry about the auditions... better to worry about the upcoming ones than the ones you can't do anything about.
