So, since "someone in the mine action community" ran upon my  journal, I had to hide all my work posts.  And can no longer post about work.  Which sucks as its pretty much the most interesting part of my life here what with the rest of my time being devoted to saving up $ to go o Malaysia while my friends fly to other countries on the weekends.

Why don't you just friend lock your posts about work? Or, if she is one your friend list, filter the posts?

Yeah. the problem is my family/friends who aren't on LJ who I'd still like to hear about the job stuff... though my job has now just taken a huge U-turn I'm not totally uncomfortable with work talk in what I suppose is a public forum.
