It taunts me

It taunts me.

It came out of nowhere. Bright and colorful, flying about randomly. I beg it
to sit still, but it doesn't seem to understand me. The three roommates seem to
be able to make it come and go. They mock at my attempts at communication. This
post will be short, as I will be busy solving the mystery of this feathered
thing.

I caught it while it was sleeping, but one of the roommates took it away to sleep elsewhere.
