The fan brush makes you seconds away from a sense of depth, and of course, this makes you just seconds plus three away from fucking with depth.  It was actually quite surprising how stark the portrayed depth in my paintslopping appears.  I painted three "trees" and just covered up the bases with the fan brush, the middle one higher than the first,
