imagine you walk into your dorm forsh year at college. your rommate has a garden gnome on the dresser. what is your reaction? freaked out? amused? any in put would help. not sure if the gnome should accompany me to college.

i love gnomes. the gnome needs to come to UMW. if ur roomate makes fun of the gnome, then he isn't a fun person, and you should switch rooms. what is his name (the gnome)?

personally i would laugh if you had a garden gnome and make it like my room mascot, but some people might be freaked out. i would advise proving yourself to be a normal roommate first, then bringing the gnome later when they realize you aren't worshipping it or being all wierd. although you're john, so you're wierd anyway. i love my ex-husband!!
