he's like 16ish. it's definitely his time & his quality of life must surely suck. he makes me hurt just looking at him.

i've never had an animal put to sleep. it's kinda weird to make that decision and to take him to the vet knowing he's not coming home. though, sometimes i wish we were allowed to make this decision for our own selves when we are in the same shape as goss.

Showing mercy isn't heartless. Goss' quality of life clearly has been affected.

you're not heartless. you're doing whats in Goss' best interest. Its a hard choice to make, but I think you're making the one that's best for him.
