i am so over hockey.  i'm over the pens.  i'm over all of it.  i really don't like hockey (admittedly, b/c i don't understand it mostly) but i have to say i was a little excited when the playoffs started.  i went out with some friends to watch some games.  it was exciting.  now i'm done.  last night it took me an extra hour to get home from work.

I like football and almost no other professional sport in large part because the maximum commitment expected from me is 20 days out of 365, assuming I don't care about preseason games. In hockey 20 days is pretty much the playoff and cup series right there, and don't even get me started about basketball and baseball.

I don't actually care that everyone else is in a tizzy over it, I'm just a scrooge for sports that take more than 1/18th of my year to follow. But then, I haven't had to drive through pens traffic this year, if I had I'd be more inclined to your view I'm sure.

I don't want them to lose, but I could care less about any of it. The only reason I know we are still in whatever part of the series we're in right now is b/c of people's facebook status updates! How hilarious is that?
