"HELLO??? AM I THE ONLY ONE IN THE CITY WHO HAS A PROBLEM WITH THIS?????"

Haha, ya- I think it'd be kind of cool!!

And I watched Laguna Beach yesterday- I hope LC & Steven get together too! It seems cool to live there, but if that's what the people are like I'm perfect w/ good ol' Seatown. BUT OF COURSE I'M GONNA WATCH THE WHOLE SEASON.

It's not Mt. Rainier, it's Mt. St. Helens.

Um, actually Blair, the story was all over CNN and other national news stations. The story is not going unnoticed. I'm sure towns much closer to St. Helens are getting some sort of huge alert. And in fact, the entire country is. Also, Homeland Security has nothing to do with mountains blowing up, they're concerned with human threats. I agree that this country sucks (I am currently APPALLED at our political and media systems). And I know someone's gonna reply to this post and be like "Come on, Nick. It's your country! You don't love your country?" Well, I used to love my country, but not anymore. It's been shot to hell.

UW Siezmology Lab is where they do all the research and shit, and there's like three news trucks camped outside it right now.

Plus, with a much worse first-alert system in place, St. Helens killed all of what? 57 people? And back then it was a resort destination. Now all the nearby roads can be closed at moments notice, and no one actually lives there anymore. There's really not a whole lot to worry about, as last time, half the mountain was destroyed and all we got was darkness at noon.

Well, there were bigass mudslides and shit that fucked up a couple towns and tore down some bridges and obliterated some roads. But I don't think another eruption would really kill anyone.

Thanks a lot guys. I was just trying to be funny. Guess my humor is way "below" your intelligence level. Sorry for being such a dumbass.

Sarcasm just translates poorly over the internet. We apparantly misunderstood the context, my apologies.

That, and any excuse to talk about volcanos...

That and there was absolutely no hostility or "Blair's wrong-ness" to what we were talking about.

lets just put some things in perspective....i'm currently looking at spending from november to march in weather that doesnt' ever get much above freezing tempereatures. yes, that's right, the average tempereature here for the month of january is between 16 and 30 degrees fahrenheit. ever heard of frostbite...hypothermia...DEATH!! and you are worried about a silly volcano...let gets real now...who's life is really on the line???

(love you blair! lol)

Here comes the sun! Oh wait, not for you! haha yogi_bc04 October 1 2004, 21:35:27 UTC
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

You're right Linsen. We should be spending our taxes working out getting the UND out of ENC fo LIFE motha fucka. Or just wait a while and I am sure that global warming will take care of that nasty little temperature problem you have. It will also prolly drown us, but you know. Hey, you survived your silly little Portlandian ice storm last year. Midwestern winters shouldn't do jack shit to you.

And besides, who exactly chose to go to the ENC for school? You know anywhere other than the NW has nasty weather. We've just got pleasant, depressing rain all year. But when it's nice, it's nice. I should know, I just drove home with my sunroof open and windows down because I was roasting sitting in the sun.

Okay missy, take care, and if you get really cold, I will send you warm cookies to warm you up so your ass doesn't freeze to the erg.

Love you oddles Hommie!
