That shows the difference between the US and the UK. If that had happened in the US the media would have been all over it for weeks-- talking not about how it failed but how it HAPPENED and COULD HAVE succeeded--and the fear factor would have been ramped up ridiculously. Here it's all about the fear-- then the (expletive deleted) current administration and the talk radio conservatives would have latched on to it and somehow sent up more legislation to further whittle away our constitutional rights, and further fund torture camps like Gitmo-- all in the name of fighting terrorism. Hell, we'd probably just go bomb Iran for the heck of it. Your small country has more Islamic people per square inch than we do in America, so I would imaging the actual threat of incidents might be greater just based on numbers.
I hope your country continues to keep a level head, increase security, but without terrorizing its own citizens in the process.
