I will still continue to buy CDs as long as they are available to me. The CDs that I do get will most likely be converted to mp3 format soon after I get 'em, though. It's just easier to have everything in the same place (ie: a hard drive) instead of having some albums in your car, some at home, some that you are lending to a friend, blah blah blah. I do agree with the need for a physical presence of album art and liner notes, etc. However, I feel less commitment with some albums and their songs and it becomes frivolous to have a disc lying around that you have for only one or two good tracks.

The decision to purchase an mp3 player was not an incredibly difficult one for me, but before I got one it just didn't seem proper. Now I LOVE having it around. It's just one of those things, I suppose.

If you have any out there, Best Buy stores still have a plentiful CD selection. Other than that, isn't there also an Exclusive Company, too?
