The hospital was stale

it was ugly

and i was hungry.

the sheets were cardboard on my body

strapped to a bed

the needle pierced me

i bit my lip

but the tears still came

i was left with a doctor who wouldnt stop talking and a nurse who smiled at everything

my brain was hurting i just wanted to go home
