Although I don't know Marcia hardly at all, I'd be pissed too. I agree that it's not right for Evan to have to see that, let alone Mia when she grows up.
She's not going to want to change until she hits rock bottom. As nice as Mike's mom is, I really think she's Marcia's security net.
Sorry you have to deal with all that. Mike feels the same way about this? If he does, then call the cops next time. It might look like you're the bad guys, but I think it would actually help the situation. She needs to know it's not OK to fuck over family. It's one thing to fuck up your own life, but to try and drag your loved ones in it is something totally different.

I don't think they the kids will go to foster care as long as there are other stable immediate family members willing to take custody. :0 But yeah...all we can do is hope for the best this time around.
