For a minute I thought that would be a neat place to stop on my road trip... then I saw the price. But you know it's funny, one of my friends said the Portland weather is "England-like." Without moose, of course.

What makes it harder is having another person that will be affected by my decision. But he's starting to come to terms with the fact that I am leaving Florida sooner than later.

yeah, i've heard that same comparison. I like it though, it makes you REALLY appreciate the beautiful days/weeks. Everyone cheers up a bit and you sit outside because you can and goto the park and play games. But in florida when the weather is always decent... I rarely found myself out playing frisbee or this or that.

Yeah, that does make things more difficult. GOOD LUCK CAT.

i love the weather too!

die sonne ist wundervoll!

i am learning german from jon's old notes. did you know that in german the sun is feminine and not masculine? unlike in the latin derived languages. i think it is nifty. the sun gives life; the sun is a lady.

i am going to miss florida too. but i can't let that hold me back from my life, my adventure.

don't force yourself to leave though if you don't really want it. if you want to: you will. if you don't: you won't. trust yourself.

me toooooooooo

i can't leave this place for long
you know i've left, but i can't
stay gone from the beauty of its
night-illumined shores and the
green landscape year-round.

did you know that some places in winter everything goes brown and dead for months?

i don't think i could stand being brown and dead for months
i need to be alive.
