My cat

At my parents, inside our porch we have a chair with a blanked on it. That chair belongs to my cat. He’s old and when going “outside” he often sleeps there… It’s not really outside since the porch have glass doors and windows, but we keep one door a little open so our cat can walk in and out (even though the only time he uses it is when going ( Read more... )

Such a sweet kitty. I thik your mom is right about the territory thing.
I'm a cat lover as well an I have a cat too. He is quite old and don't mark his territory anymore although when he was young he was fighing for his territory and was such a Don Juan XDDD

My cat hasn't been in many fights, he's too afraid. Also where we lived from the day we brought him home to he was 6 years old, there was only him and no neighbors, so he didn't have to fight. Though he have been bitten by a fox o_O

"Mother had a theory… My cat is old and when he goes out he sits on the steps to our front door or sleeps on the porch, maybe he’s too tired to mark his territory nowadays, which means that other cats are going to come here and take it…"
Oh, what you wrote it is very interesting. I mean, I didn't know what said about old and young cats; although I read o heard something. Anyway, it makes sense.

"the only thing I can do is to watch out for foreign cats and chase them away… -.-‘ "
I agree, I think it is the better... at least, this is what I would do ^____^ Your cat needs your help, poor kitty *hugs*

I have a old female and a young male cat: Danka and miu. miu is always disturbing to Danka, and she irritates. In fact, I think she is stressed a bit. I hope miu let her alone someday :/

Yea, but it sounds logical, he's old and don't have the energy he use to have.

I help him, but as said, the other cats aren't mean to him actually, but he such a chicken so he's scared anyway. I think they are scared of him since he's so big XD

Oh they fight? My cat is the only cat we have so he doesn't have that problem. Did you get both at the same time? Cause I thought, if they grew up together they wouldn't fight. Miu, what a pretty name... did you get it from the B-T song? ;P

I think I didn't explain well myself: I meant I think the same your mother said :D

They sometimes fight, and I don't like because Danka irritates and stresses :/ and miu enjoys XD
Danka is almost 11 years old, and miu 7 months old; so, my theory is Danka has had all this time all the house for her, and now miu wants the own, little by little he'll get it.
I always try to help and defend to Danka because I don't want she lost her "supremacy" and first-place.
Danka is very reserved, lonely and all a lady :D
miu is just like a mischievous adorable child ;D

Yes, I did :D
In Spain cats say "miau", you can notice the reason of the name ^____~
