Second, you know, eventually you'll have to create your own life, and it's not really up to your parents what you do with it. What is up to your parents is whether they accept whatever life you create for yourself. Right now my dad keeps talking to me about getting out and doing stuff, meeting people, but I really don't feel like it. I'm happy being a recluse. Eventually he's going to have to accept that I'm going to live my social life the way I want to. So while yes they can threaten you with tuition, some day they'll have to realise that you are you're own man.
