Adrift

It's the end of the semester and I'm suffering from school fatigue. Thirty-six credits (18 classes) in, and I'm questioning its relevance again. I've also begun to suffer an inferiority complex, because while I'm puttering along to finish a Bachelor's program, several folks I know are completing Master's courses. Hm. Sometimes, when I feel this way, it's an opportunity to look over things and see if I want to change anything.

Temporary bitterness is great if it gets you off your butt in a fury of discontent. Especially if whatever is telling to to chill because you cannot change things is in fact LYING TO YOU. Or maybe just having you look in the wrong spot or overlook counter-intuitive paths.

If it's not lying, it's an opportunity to affirm that you really are doing the best you can with what you've got. And maybe decide that you're doing a very good job and deserve ice cream, cuddles, and some affirmation from folks who think you're awesome.
