I was a little glib in my earlier assessment(s) of the film.

The movie will do obscenely well at the box office, and not just because of the dazzling eye candy. It's the incredibly simplistic story at the core that sells it, really. I'm auditioning tonight. I haven't gone through that process in almost two years, so it feels like it's time. I have no expectations of getting cast, yet I'm still nervous. I'll let you know how it goes.
