So I decided today, I wanted to wander around websites very prematurely scoping out potential grad schools. The basic conclusions I've come to are this: if I want to do anything with failure analysis, or much to do with metals, or materials processing of anything NOT nanotech related, I'll be getting a graduate degree in mechanical sciences/ ( Read more... )

Bekah has run into that too..... it's mildly shocking, especially considering the need in the field for people who have a concentration in that level of understanding.
