It's not that Parkview is a bad school or anything. I just plain don't want to go. I'm fed up with it. I honestly don't know why I don't have my GED yet. I suppose the main reason why I am still in school is so that I can stay on insurance. I'm in quite an annoying situation right now. I have skipped going to school this entire week and it has ( Read more... )

Pulaski tech is a good school that is a very nice for transitioning from high school classes to a four year college. I personally recommend it as the professors are more helpful and the class sizes are smaller than either UALR or UCA.

My mother's insurance would only cover me if I was a full time student so I'd double check.

If you want to work for a little while instead of jumping right into school I'd suggest working as a bank teller. You can work part time (I think it was 25 hours minimum at bank of america) and get full coverage insurance PLUS they will pay for part of your school tuition costs!!! A lot of college students work for banks because of that.

High school was miserable for me so I ended up graduating when I was 16 just because I wanted out of it so damn bad. However, if you are going to go to college you really cannot miss classes so getting into a good habit of going to school even if you don't want to will pay off.

Hope that helps!

Tails, I'll personally come over and fong u with a foam stick if u keep talking like that!!! I'll agree with the lazy part (sometimes) but I refuse to be told that one of,(if not the) best friend I have is "nothing"! Why would I spend so much time with "nothing"? Y would N E of those that care about u spend time with "nothing"? I mean, I know I hate myself and all, but I could find better ways to spend time than talking with "nothing"! Yes. U do have decisions to make. Many. And U'll figure every thing out because I know u will. U just lack motivation. U're so lucky, i didn't have time to grow up. I was thrown into everything in small amount of time. U can weigh out your options. And most importantly of all, U have people to talk to, ask advice, and who'll be there regardless of those choices. As for motivation, direction, and goals, I'm sure u have more than u say... we all do. It's just a matter of finding a way to realize some way to attain or begin them. U know if ever u need an ear, (even though mine work poorly and u may have to ( ... )
