Prior to June 5th, the departure to Florence for my unpredictably long vacation, I led a very healthy lifestyle which consisted of exercising almost daily, eating fruit, vegetables, whole grain grains, hummus, soups, veggie burgers, seldom indulging at Rally's or Taco Bell, or eating meats. Thanks for the encouragement, I need a lot. :) Staying on track is difficult, but I am getting there! Right now, Bike riding is my favorite form of exercise. But the kind I do isn't strenuous. It's just riding through the neighborhood. No inclines or anything. :(

I just have a regular road bike with just one gear. There are some trails nearby that I have never explored. I need to go check them out and see if my little Kruzer and I can handle them. :)

Buying healthy organic foods that aren't injected with hormones and stuff like that are more expensive than normal everyday foods unfortunately. But totally worth the buy.

I'll definitely check out these books. Sounds awesome, especially the fact that the author answers his mails! :D

The book that got me started on getting healthy, and getting on the right track was Skinny Bitch. It's mostly about food and conspiracies.
