yay! that's so cool :-)

how are you cutting calories? I think I need to work more on this, and I have mixed success -- some days, I do well, but I still have problems snacking on sweet stuff when it is available.

My biggest success has been smaller portions at meal time. And I use a smaller plate ( ... )

Did I ever reply to this? I'm not sure. Anyway, first of all, kudos to you!

Second, I'm trying something similar (but am just starting out). I'm working on being more conscious of what I eat, down to throwing out something I started if I really don't like it (typically, something sweet I shouldn't have started anyway). And I'm trying to have one or two meals a week where I just eat a nice helping of steamed veggies with a little serving of pasta on the side. That also seems to be helping -- rather than try to have the same number of calories each day, it works better for me to have one or two days where I just eat a really light supper.
