Kanno myspace tracks of the week
I just checked out Kanno's myspace again and heard a few familiar tracks and a few new ones that I love.
1. Goodnight Julia - The Sealtbelts, Cowboy Bebop
Have.
2. What Can I Say? - SUNNY, GITS: Stand Alone Complex
Have. Why did she have to make this one so short?! Such a touching song.
3. First Love Final Love - Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra, Genesis of Aquarion
Have. This one sounds so much like a Star Wars piece at first to me and then has other sections that also sound very similar to John Williams' style.
4. Exaelitus, sung by Origa, for Lexus CM (Commercial Music)
How awesome. I totally want to get ahold of this. Apparently it's available on an album called CM Yoko of just Kanno's commercial music on iTunes?
5. The Way to the River - Gabriela Robin, Turn A Gundam
Have.
6. Close to Home - Uncharted Waters II
Have. Want to transcribe this one for piano.
7. The Garden of Everything, sung by Steve Conte & Maaya Sakamoto, for Rahxephon Tagen Hensoukyoku
I love and want this one too.
If anyone wants any of the tracks I have or their corresponding albums, let me know and I can upload them. Does anyone have Exaelitus or The Garden of Everything?
