(no subject)
so i finished up to the japanese released of naruto.
So, Tenyka lied. xD There was totally no 'Sasuke has loved Sakura forever' spoiler, although that was why I started reading ahead! GRR! But that's okay, because I still like to believe it's true. XD I mean, how could he not? There were so many hints in the chapters of 13/14. Ahh, man.
Okay, okay. So. Shikamaru basically OWNS MY SOUL. Eff, I love that kid. I LOVE him. I love his character, his lazy side, his strong side, his determination (once he gets it), his friendship, his kindness... I mean, when he cried with joy when he found out everyone lived through his first mission, I started bawling my eyes out.
Speaking of crying, let's recount the times I cried!
a)sasuke turning to the dark side
b)shikamaru crying when he found out everyone was safe
c)WHEN ASUMA DIED. eff, i cried so hard and i was trying to hide it. argh, that was SO depressing.
d)when sakura first saw sasuke after 2 and a half years (this is like, my second OTP of life) this was just a little cry though.
e)when we saw sasuke's face (that moment) tears of PURE, SWEET, JOY, man.
f)when naruto cried after sasuke vanished after their first fight. ditto for sakura.
g)and so on and so forth
I LOVE how he skipped ahead 2 years. At first I was like "...eeeeh, but it seems like it's been so long!" but I really like it. They're all so mature and pretty now. <3 And it leaves open TWO WHOLE YEARS OF FANFICCAGE!
I like how Sakura and Naruto's relationship is growing, but EW. I DON'T SHIP THEM. And Yamato TOTALLY ships them, you can tell. >:O He's all "oh sakura, i know you really feel--" and then someone interrupted him, and I was like "ERGH YAMATO YOU UNDERSTAND NOTHING OF THE SAKURA/SASUKE LOVE" he makes me mad.
Sai disappoints me. He's cute, but... ergh, too much like sasuke. I wonder how his part will grow as the story progesses.
Kakashi has basically always owned my heart, and I love him so so so so so so much.
I LOVE how when Naruto was creating his own jutsu, he basically owned everyone. xD
Sasuke's curse form seems a but... much. I mean, freaky hair? Weird wings? Don't get me wrong, Sasuke is amazing and so is his incredible strength, but... his curse form freaks me out. xD I think Sakura would burst into tears if she ever saw it.
THE FIGHTS DRAG ON. They're not as boring as the ones in Bleach, but at least the ones in Bleach are a bit quicker. XD I mean, I want my Sakura/Sasuke interacton!
I love all the attention Kishimoto is paying to Shikamaru. <33 I mean, I can NEVER get enough of that boy. EVER. And YES, they finally defeated some Akatsuki! YES. I wonder how Orochimaru was connected with them... hmm... and Itachi as well. I assume Orochimaru learned of Sasuke through Itachi. Ergh, Itachi.
HINATA~ She's so adorable after the two years! I was so happy to see her. :D And Shino and his paranoia of being left out. XD And KIBA! ARGH KIBA IS SO HOT! And Ino's a babe now. Shikamaru's hot, 'nuff said. NEJI! NEJI NEJI NEJI. I've always loved that guy, but now he's just... yum, Neji.
But best of all... SASUKE! I was waiting for him for like, SEVEN VOLUMES. And his meeting with Sakura and Naruto was great. I loved how Sakura just started to attack him and Sasuke seemed so shocked (in his I'm-too-cool-to-show-emotion-now way), because she's just grown so much, and I'm so happy and pleased she's matured from her fangirlish ways into such a well-rounded character... although I loved her fangirling. XD Same with EVERYONE! They've all been fleshed out so nicely, and I love it.
OMFG, WHEN THE SAND KIDS CAME TO SAVE THEM FROM OROCHIMARU'S SOUND PEOPLE! K#JYK^J#^@# I LOVE GAARA. He's so cute now that he's good. xD Gaara and Lee interaction basically owns everything. Except for Sasuke Sakura interaction. Or Shikamaru/anything interaction.
Shikamaru was HOT when he smoked! HOT! I wish he would start smoking again. xD
What pleases me the most is how much Naruto and Sasuke's relationship has changed. They're brother, friends, companions. They have a bond that's so strong, and Naruto defends it so intensely. Reading the first volume this morning, I've seen how much they've changed and it's just... it's mind-boggling! Really! I love it.
I'm so excited, but a bit disappointed I don't have piles of chapters to read anymore. XD I guess I can always watch the anime.
