i just wanted to say that I love you and i am going to miss you at dear camp occoneechee this summer. have an AMAZING time in Spain(but we would LOVE a postcard or two) -spirit
awww... i love you too spirit, and i'm going to miss you and camp soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much this summer. i will totally try and send a postcard/letter that way- and i'm certainly still going to be reachable by email and trying to update my lj as well... so when you manage to get a minute on the computer that the kitchen aides aren't on it- definitely gimme a shout as well! i would LOVE to hear about all the cool stuff of the summer- all the stories so i can live vicariously through you guys this summer- as you can through me in spain! teehee... and if i sometimes forget to write in english i apologize ahead of time and hope you can translate for me- i already do that now sometimes, especially writing by hand- i mix spanish and english and i know once i'm immersed in it over there it's going to be hard to keep the two distinct and use them at appropriate times. :)
oh, and i forgot to say to have an AMAZING time at camp- and hopefully it will be a great summre without too much drama- last year was enough! have fun meeting so many new staff as well- and being one of the experienced occoneechee vets! we've seen battle, and have lived through it. Thus, we go on, and teach the new blood the ways of the battlefield, AKA how to deal with insane girls scouts 24/7. it's a tough job, but somebody's got to do it. :)
yes, seriously, last summmer had plllllenty of DRAMA...hopefully this summer will be much more 'chill.' And, yes, I will certainly whip all of those new staff-ers into Occoneechee shape. It is a touugh job, but I'm glad i'm one of the ones who gets to do it! I know what you mean about the spanish thing...sometimes I have trouble thinking of the word I need in english, and can only remember an applicable spanish equivalent, and spanish palabras have definately shown up unintentionally in my class notes and such...and I wasn't even In and foreign country. Bring it on, it will be fun, and I can translate. :-D
