"Okay, we'll see you when you get here." Jiyeon chirped into her cellphone before hanging up. She made her way across her dorm room to the bed Sulli, who was reading a magazine, was laying down on and sat by her feet. "What if Luna thinks we're being nosy?" she asked her roommate.
"Don't worry about it," Sulli said from behind her magazine. "If I know her, and I do, she'll tell us anything we want as long as we cover it with aegyo." It was a strategy that always worked for her. Luna was a sucker for cuteness. Innocent grin + a sweet eye smile = all you need to get what you wanted in Sulli Land. She flipped another page of her magazine. "At least I think she will."
Luna walked down the halls of the dorms room down to the third floor holding her cellphone to her ear. "I'm on my way," she said to the girl in the other line before hanging up. She hadn't seen Sulli and Jiyeon in a while and them inviting her over was exactly what she needed to take her mind off some things. She continued down the halls until she stopped in front of the a door. "Room 303," she whispered to herself and lifted her hand to knock.
As soon as she heard foot steps outside their dorm Jiyeon jumped from the bed and practically leaped to the door. She swung the door open and before the girl could even look at her she pulled her into a tight hug as if she hadn't seen her in forever. And it was true, Luna was a close friend of hers but she had been a bit distant lately. That was the whole reason she called her over. She let go of her hold and lightly tugged her inside the room.
Sulli rolled her eyes at her dork roommate from her place on the bed. "Heeeey unnie~~" Sulli greeted with aegyo at full force as planned. She dropped her magazine patted the soft mattress she was sitting on with a soft giggle. "Unnie, it's been so long. Where have you been lately? You haven't been answering my text or emails," she said giving a fake pout and crossing her arms.
"Okay, okay. Let me breathe now," Luna waited until the taller girl loosened her grip only to be pulled out of the hallway. She noticed Sulli on the bed looking up at her brightly, which then turned to a concerned glanced, then quickly faded to a angered pout. Why did she have to be so adorable? "Sorry honey, I've been caught up in a few things," she said before pulling the girl into a light embrace and then sitting beside her on the bed with her legs crossed.
Jiyeon couldn't help but cringe at Sulli's over done aegyo. Quite frankly, it was kind of gross and she commended Luna for being able to stand it. Although it was effective. She could see her best friends gaze soften when she looked at her dongsaeng. She closed the door and followed Luna over to the bed and sat beside her so that the three of them formed a triangle. "Like what kind of things?"
Sulli's arms naturally found their way around Luna's waist. "Yeah, like what kind of things?" It was totally possible that Luna was busy working or that she had been practicing really hard lately. But if that was the case she would have told her and not been all secretive. "So tell us, what have you been up to? Are you busy with.... a boy perhaps?" Sulli figured she'd might as well get straight to the point.
Wow, was it really that obvious? "I never said it was a guy..." Luna said looking down at her hands as she started to play with them. She knew it would be a bad idea to say anything specific. She could already feel her cheeks getting hot.
"Awww you're in love." Jiyeon streched out her thumb and index finger to pinch Luna's face.
Sulli found her self squealing with delight "Sooooo, who is he? What's his name? Is he Korean? There's a lot of foreigners at YongTae you know. Oh, is he cute? Does he have an even cuter younger brother?" She couldn't help with all the questions. She was excited for her unnie. "Wait, an even more important question, does he have a lot of money?"
Luna smacked Jiyeon fingers away from her face. 'Well guess what, even if it was a guy I wouldn't tell you who nor would I ever under any circumstance I trust either of you with that kind of personal information! So there.' was what she wanted to say but "...........ihateyouguys" was all she could manage. Their sudden interest in her personal life was making her suspicious. She noticed the gossip magazine on the floor. Oh great, she just told two gossip soaking sponges something they'd consider juicy. She wonder how long it would take until they squeezed it out on someone.
"Wow, I'm so proud of you, Luna. For a second there I didn't even think you liked guys anymore." Jiyeon saw that Luna didn't crush on boys often. Well at least as long as she had known her. But then again Luna had pretty high standards so the guy must be a god if Luna liked him.
"So when will you introduce us to the new BF?" Sulli asked. When she thought about it, her and Jiyeon meeting this mystery man would be a bad idea. They'd probably end up scaring him or embarrassing her unnie.
She shook the though of them meeting him out of her mind. Luna could already see it going wrong in so many ways. "It's nothing serious, honestly. We've only talked a few times and hung out. As two people, two friends. That's all." she put maybe too much emphasis on the word 'friends'. She hated the fact that she was telling them more then she had intended to. "Wait, you guys, don't go telling people and getting involved, okay?"
*grumble grumble* Jiyeon noticed the growing hunger in her stomach. That's what happens when she goes all day without a meal. She got up and went to the desk that was too the side of her bed. She had got a banana earlier that morning but really wasn't in the mood to eat it then. She grabbed it in one swift motion and crawled back over to her spot in on Sulli's bed to rejoin the conversation. "Don't worry, our lips are sealed." She made a zip motion across her lips before taking a bite of her snack. "Plus boys are weird."
Sulli found her self rolling her eyes at Jiyeon again. "In your case Jiyeon, I don't think boys are the one's with the problem."
Luna pulled out her cellphone and quickly snapped a picture of Jiyeon eating. She figured if she was going to be blackmailed then two well three can play at that game.
"Whatever" Jiyeon snarled when she suddenly heard the click of a camera and looked in Luna's direction and she saw the girl holding up her cellphone. "YAH!! GIVE. ME. THE. PHONE." She said trying to get the device out of Luna's hand.
"Buwahahaha," Sulli laughed really loudly. Jiyeon screaming with a mouthful of banana was probably the funniest thing she ever saw. This is why she liked Luna unnie. She was pretty darn clever. And any guy who didn't appreciate that would get harassed by Sulli. No really, they would. "Ah unnie you're the best, seriously," she said between outbursts of laughter.
Luna was too fast for Jiyeon. She quickly moved her hand away "I won't show anyone this," she wiggling the phone out of reach in her hand, "if you don't mention my little ….crush." It felt weird to actually say it out loud. "Deal?" She said holding out her pinky.
"Ugh, I already said I wouldn't tell!" She said still reaching for the phone. Jiyeon finally gave up when her arm got tired and linked her pinky with Luna's. "Fine, deal". She shot Sulli a glance. "You too little one. We don't have any thing to hold against you but you're still involved. You're the one who got me into this."
When Sulli regained herself from laughing so hard she noticed her unnies staring at her. "What? You know I would never tell, unnie." Plus it's not like some pinky promise would stop her anyway. When their eyes kept looking at her she gave in. "Okay, okay. Deal." She said linking pinkies with both girls halfheartedly. "But really, you're not going to tell us who it is?" She tried to put a little bit of aegyo in the question.
"Good." Luna said getting up from the bed. It was getting late and she planned on waking up early to practice a bit. "No, I won't. You know I love you guys but that kind of thing is just something I'd rather keep to myself." She opened the door and stepped back into the hallway. Before closing the door behind her she poked her head in one more time, "and besides, I don't think he even knows it."
