Growing up, I used to love the smell after it rained. Today, I woke up, back home in LA, and over night it had rained! When I walked outside I took a big inhale, and realized I have been fucking spoiled by Tucson.
Even without the smoggy overtones, the smell here just doesn't compare. It would be good if I just stopped missing Tucson quite so ( Read more... )

I will elaborate, assuming you may not know me and was confused by my post...
I have recently moved from Tucson back to Los Angeles. I miss Tucson. Tucson rocks. It smells much better in Tucson after the rain than it does here in LA... creosote and all... mmmmm....
