I remember sitting with you at Plush near a windowsill. There were lots of people there from the English department. You and I both drank vodka tonics with lime. siyeh was there and had a beer. We talked long into the night about relationships and tried to decode other peoples' intentions.

Another night at Plush: the first time you and siyeh met benlinus. No explanation needed.

I think those two nights at Plush were one after the other... It was most definitely an intense period for me.

My favorite memory of you is when you stayed at our apartment in Chelsea and I met you for the first time. You were already cool, but when you whipped out your portfolio of the stuff you have done, I was sold. You do cool stuff. I'm impressed.

After your husband's previous track record, I had come prepared to be skeptical about you. You blew all that away in less than ten seconds of meeting you: rocketing to the top of the "yonica's favorite people in the universe" chart in mere minutes. I am not sure that anyone else has ever convinced me of their Total Awesomeness Saturation (TAS) quite that quickly.
