Movie contemplaition.

Hmmmmmm,......... since 300 is a highly talked-about movie and since, movie freak that I am, I wanted to see it anyway.... I think that means I'm going to see it when it starts here this week.
The only dilemma is: Digital Projection or Original Language????? I don't think it's one I will want to see twice.

Let me put it this way, I absolutely loved all the internet jokes that were going on about it for a year or so. But since it's out I haven't been able to bring myself to watch it. I'm all for trash movies, but I don't know when I'll finally watch this one. *shrugs*

You recently posted the Hugo nominees for Best Movie and I think I've seen them all. ^^ .... *looks them up*.... Er, okay, I'm seeing A Scanner Darkly soon, but anyway. XD

Faeon and Patrick went to 300 and asked me if I wanted to come, but I said no because I don't like battle scenes. I didn't realize I was missing nakedness.

I get to so very few movies while they are in the theatre. I'm just not big on going alone, and since John died I seldom have anyone to go with. The boys mainly want gore and explosions and car races.

I do, however, try to catch up by getting DVDs from Netflix. The problem with that is that by the time I've seen the movie, everyone else is finished talking about it!

Aw, yes, going to the movies alone isn't fun, and even less when it reminds you of someone that is gone. :(

Could say the same about opening dates for movies over here in germany. Which is anything from "on the same day" until "one and a half year after" the original release. It only really bothers me with fandom stuff (like back when PotC 2 was released). Otherwise, I see them when I see them. *shrugs* :)

I saw it at the weekend - I would say that the dialogue is the least important bit of the film as most of it consists of people going "SPARTA!!!" "AHOOOOO AHOOOOO AHOOOOOO!!"

but there is a rhino in it which is cool!

Der Film würde mich schon interessieren, aber ich denke nicht, dass ich ihn gucken werde XD Immer dieses sinnlose Gemetzel ö_ö'

Naja, entweder interessiert's dich oder nicht. ;) Ich erwarte noch ne Nummer "schlimmer" als Sin City. Den ich aber auch net schlecht fand. *duck* Kam aber wohl eher daher, dass ich ständig alles mit Ankh-Morpork verglichen hab. XD
Wird auf jeden Fall visuell bestimmt nett, und von daher muss es auch jetzt auf der großen Leinwand sein.
