They lost their homes.
They lost their families.
They lost their fathers.
They lost their brothers.
They lost their sisters.
They lost their mothers.
They lost their sons.
They lost their daughters.
They lost their future.
They lost their lives.
They lost tomorrow.
They lost paradise.
I only lost a child I never knew.
What is this loss in comparison with theirs?
Seeing such catastrophe makes me realize how much I need to move on. I can't keep standing here, in this one spot. I can't keep looking back and regressing. There's no point. Life's too short for this kind of drowning.
It's time to swim away from this shore.
Don't drown.
