Hmm... i have just looked at our blog archives since Jan 2006 - i have never posted a New Year's post, nothing about resolutions or lack thereof. So this year i thot i will - mainly because i have been inspired by  Leonny from Our Everyday Things.

This morning - New Year's Eve - it started snowing & i mean SNOWING - it was coming down in big fat flakes like i have never - i don't remember it ever snowing such big fat heavy flakes at this level (400m) in the 6.3 yrs we have been here.

We have been using the same Christmas decorations for the last 6x Christmases so this year i decided it is time for a change. So we have gone from blue/white/silver to gold/brown/rust.

How ironic that by the time i get round to posting the wonderful snow pictures i took 2x weeks ago - the actual physical snow has all...& i mean ALL - completely! ... melted away.
