I got word today that the company is sending me to Ponchatoula Louisiana for the rollout of our new desktop standards. I like the idea of traveling for the company and meeting more end users, but I'm worried about what to do with my down time. I've been to New Orleans twice and loved it. I'm more of a shopping kind of tourist, so I mostly hung out on Decatur St and bought things. Like feathered masks and shinies. But that's just me. :P

Also, on Rue Chartres they have a wonderful used bookstore called The Librarie Bookshop if you are into books. Great stuff - I got three tiny antique Shakespeare books for $2.00 each.
