let me check the WOMENS grading scale....yeah, 11 is off the chart. 9:38 is 5.0, the lowest. i am telling you the name of this course is totally misleading. it doesnt CONDITION you for running, it basically makes you run a whole lot and you better already be damn quick.
iirc, the pe course at my university was pass / fail too. The running used to constantly kick my ass, but even more so now since I have put in a few pounds and seem to be getting knee pains fairly easily.
I work out and I still hate push ups. It's a hugely psychological game man. But the evaluation should way to some extent on progress too, not just absolute numbers. It almost seems absurd to me for someone to fail a physical education course, for reasons other than lack of attendance.
