Sounds like the person is butthurt that things aren't going the way they want them to in the scene/plot/whatever. I used to get this "ur doin it wrong" reaction, too, for various reasons that boiled down to someone not getting their way. Lulz.

Oh, it's butthurt, all right. But it's someone who left a game in a flurry of wank and pretty much has problems with the person who picked up the character after her. And she pretty much told the player who came and explained their take on the character, "Well then, why haven't you done it my way?"

See, I love that you know which post I'm talking about. And none of them are on my friends list, but...lets just say that two of the people in that post have made very, very certain that I'm not going to be joining any game they mod again. Ever. (That and trying to guilt trip me into staying with a character I told one of them flat out that I wasn't getting the hang of and didn't particularly like the way I had to play him.)

Saphie's a friend of mine. I know most sides of what went on there and...yeah. I'm not going anywhere near any of their games again. Saphie was in the wrong in the post, yeah, what with naming names and all. But...seriously. Grey was a lot worse, imo, with her 'my way is the only way' mindset. (She mods that way, too.)

Wait. There was a post about me not being allowed in the Basement? I think I must have missed it. And for me, it was Jeri and Jillian. And I'm mostly just staying out of things. Though annoyed because I've lost touch with some people because I don't see them anywhere else.

I'm sure not all Marvel NextGen are that crazy, but the fucking crazy ones are in my game. D:

Yeah. I'm not sure about the NextGen game that they're talking about, either. Never was an interest of mine, honestly. But...yeah, somehow this doesn't surprise me.

And I'm so glad I never had any great desire to join that game at all.

It's hard not to get the impression that marvel_mansion/marvel_nextgen players don't like others getting into their sandbox, but I can't really tell if that's because of a handful of them or a comm-wide attitude. :\

It's highly discouraging. I'm just so used to the Nexus' openness.

Well, there's been a pretty big upheaval in the people in charge at marvel_mansion. I never played at NextGen, but I imagine there's been a pretty big upheaval there as well. They're pretty much always open to new people applying. And open to OCs. I really do think it was only a handful of them, and most of them have gone.
