Well I got some flack from a friend about not updating my LJ. And I admit that I don't actually generally get around to logging on and writing about my really... REALLY boring life. Oh, want to know something funny? Remember that duvet I got at Linens and Things for such a good deal? Well, I took it out of it's bag to use it and the thing sounds like a tarp any time you move it. All these plastic-like crumply noises and such. So the stupid tarp... uh... I mean "duvet" is going to have to go back. Not such a good deal after all.

Have you EVER hear a duvet make tarp noises?

my featherbed made a diaper-like rustling noise when I first got it.
Methinks it comes from the way it is baffeled....the noise goes away with washing and use.
mine's plenty quieter now~

It's the year 2007... can we not come up with affordable technology that can contain down without the harassing sounds of plastic crumple?!

What would be funny is putting the tarp duvet on the diaper featherbed! You'd NEVER get any sleep that way!
