Just finished watching No.6...;_;...must know more, the anime didn't explain enough! I will say though, by the end I was actually more interested in the actual plot, rather than the subtext...not that I'm complaining =p
Yay, No.6 fanart! :D And that's what I love about the story: There's plenty of subtext, but the really cool thing is that there is PLOT! ACTUAL PLOT! OF THE GOOD KIND! And yeah, I want to know so much more about their world, about the other cities, what Nezumi does after the end, what Shion does to build up the city again, what about Inukashi, or the kids, or... and at the end I notice that I don't even bother so much about them being together or not but all the adventures they're having together... or alone.
The first volume from the novels has been fan-translated by the way, but unfortunately, there are only resumes for the other novels yet so far afaik. And of course, the manga is being scanlated as well, though I haven't read all of what's available now. Or you could, of course, do as I did and buy the novels... in Japanese. :)
Chances are there will probably be more...I haven't done fanart in aaaages, but I do like this series!
I totally agree! PLOT! I want to know all that stuff too! And I felt the ending(based on what I saw in the anime, with Nezumi leaving) was appropriate, given their characters.
I would totally buy the novels if I wasn't so incredibly incredibly slow at reading Japanese ;_;(shallow question maybe, but do the novels have illustrations?)
But on the bright side, the link nezumiiii posted below had up to volume 4, and looks like it's updated quite regularly =D And I'll check out this manga...just what I need, more distractions =p

The anime did, uh, cut pretty much anything regarding the plot, so you should enjoy the novels!
