novemberbaby86 made me friggin ecstastic yesterday (and this morning after I watched it again) when she mentioned the Maotsujun all over the latest HnA with Becky as guest...

The whole Hanadan talk starts at 1:53
2:16 Jun touches his arm and attempts to fix his clothes but stops abruptly. xD
VTR begins and you see Jun laughing because Nino says Mao's running fast.
Just watch Jun in the corner!
Then when Doumyouji says, "You're in love with me..." Jun looks away with a shy, knowing smile. (SOOOOOOO CUTE!)
When Doumyouji hugs Makino, Becky goes AHH, Sho says something that I don't catch but Nino says, "That's not you!" xD
When they kiss, Becky goes KYAAA and Sho says, "There it is! That's the 25.8% rating!"
At 4:47, Jun is laughing but it seems like he's looking in Nino's direction instead of Becky. Hmmmm. Maybe it's just me?
Then when Becky is asked about what she likes most about the scene, they show the VTR in the corner of the screen
and Jun is listening but his eyes are glued to the camera with that goofy smile of his.
At 5:52 Nino says Mao's fast with this weird look on his face...or his eyes...I couldn't tell. I was really happy that her name was on the screen, haha. But, no really, Nino seemed...suspicious, haha.
*squeals!!!!* I'll just briefly explain some things in the Maotsujun analysis of Tammy here... the reason we brought up Jun fixing his clothes at 2:16 is because it's an absent-minded nervous gesture that Jun tends to do. Kinda like how people might touch their ear or start talking really fast or something. Jun just likes to reaarange his clothes. ^.~
As of late, I've found Jun the least attractive in Arashi for some reason. I mean, they're all very attractive boys... but if I had to choose the order of most attractive to least a week ago, Jun would be last. x_x
You see, I met Jun through HanaDan first where I saw him with Inoue Mao and he was *glowing* with this boy-around-girl-he-has-a-crush-with aura that gradually just turned into a boy-in-love. That glow started to fade when I saw just him more without Mao, because you have to admit... people in love have this... glow about them, and look so much better together. Like how Nino looks with Ohno. Or how Jun looks with Mao. With that said, despite that... um, beard... Jun is sporting, his attractiveness and glow suddenly shot up ten-fold to me when the talk of HanaDan, the VTR, and teasing went about. He has this dorky adorable smile reserved just for Mao on (and I mean really, he does have it guys. Check the old HanaDan interviews and compare it to other interviews) that was just so big and genuine! He was leaning toward the monitor, and moved so much the camera had trouble focusing on him at one point.
Now you may be wondering why the e-mail mentions Nino so much too. Asides from being my favorite, Tammy and I are under the impression that Nino and Mao are pretty close friend-wise. I mean, we just get that feeling from the way Nino interacts with her (the few times on tv, like HnA promoting HYDF, or the tidbits of report we get off the set of the Nino SP coming Sept. 24) on top of this video right here. Nino likes to talk a lot when it's in reference to this particular costar of his. And this video is no different.
At 4:47, Jun looks at Nino with this sort of smile and it feels like they're sharing some kind of inside joke. The suspicious behaviour doesn't end there though, what with Sho teasingly saying, "There it is! The 25.8% rating!" I really adore how Arashi keeps up with each other's projects. Sho later (6:49) says Aiba has a favorite line from HanaDan and Aiba says, "Ma~kino!" in perfect Hanazawa Rui imitation. I love how Nino squirms in the background during the skit (and Tammy's good eyes notice that Nino always squirms in a giddy fashion when the words "I love you" are involved), and I really, really wish Ohno contributed more to the conversation other than giggles and grins.
I. Am. So. Thrilled.
Take THAT, JE/TBS~! Even when Inoue Mao herself can't appear on an Arashi show, she manages to wiggle her way in anyway. (Thank you, Becky!)
But really, it has been so long since Mao and Jun have been on the same screen. And it's still a beautiful thing.
Now, on a completely unrelated thought. I love my name. Because I get to watch Nino dance to Jun saying it (Melody) during La Tormenta @ 1:34:
