chapter 25: you are my angle~

There are sounds of birds singing outside.
Nino feels very lazy to wake up. Somehow his pillow today is more comfortable than usual, but when he feels that his bed is ‘moving’ he opens his eyes and lift his head.
He smiles at his ‘pillow’.
It is Mia’s lap. They are sleeping at living room. After Nino stop crying and his mood is getting better, Mia said that she want to play Wii game with him. Perhaps she understands what is a gamer like Nino need when they are depress and her mission succeed. Finally, Nino can laugh happily last night- forgetting what had happen. What he knew at that moment, he is in his world with Mia- just two of them.
Nino feels sorry for Mia because she is sleeping while sitting on the floor- Her back lean on the couch, but she is looks so adorable at that moment. He gets up and slowly scoops Mia up. He takes fully precaution this time- didn’t want to hit Mia’s head again. Plus, he didn’t want to wake her up- she didn’t get enough sleep last night because of him. Just because wanting to make him feels better, she restrained herself from sleeping. Nino knows it, very well, but he needs her at that time- he didn’t want her to leave him alone even just to move to a place call- dreamland.
Nino purposely heads to his room, wanting Mia to sleep on his bed. After he successfully place her on the bed, puts a blanket on her, fixing the pillow for her to get a better sleep, he calls Sunako-chan- asking for her help to inform their supervisor that Mia is not well. After that, he sits beside her.
Nino smiles.
She is such an angle- an angle that being send from God to him. Her sleeping face- is a tranquil scene for Nino. He bent down, kissing her forehead. He looks at the clock- 8.30 am. He has a photo shoot at 9.30 for GQ magazine this morning. So he has about half an hour to get ready before JE’s van arrived to pick him up with the rest of Arashi’s members.
He still wants to be there- just- looking at her face.
Nagasawa Masami is a great lady, she knows very well how to please people and I’m the one who realize it the most but somehow there is no magic in her touch anymore. I wonder- something is missing somewhere.
What is it?
She push me down and sits on my stomach, grinning. I just let her be but suddenly I remember something..
Mia’s nervous face when the very first time I touched her. That adorable pouting lips, her innocent heart, her stubbornness who will stand still to what she believe, the sparkles eyes- which looks like smiling at me.. all the things that made me fall in love with her.. slowly I understand what is missing.
The love is not here anymore.
Before Masami proceed to another stage, I stop her. I can see her frustrated face but.. “I have to go” and I leave her just like that. She called me, I heard that but..
“Hey.. day dreaming?”
Nino looks down and Mia is smiling at him. “Ohaiyou sweetie..” He greets her while his hand caresses her face. Kissing her forehead and her lips. Mia closes her eyes. “Ohaiyou..err.. am I in heaven right now?” she asks him, impliedly tells him that she is so happy.
“Not you.. but me.. I woke up this morning and I find I’m sleeping on an angle’s lap”
Mia giggles. “Oh, I bet your angle is smelly because she didn’t take her bath yet”
“Ummm.. I’m quite agree about that..but, you know what?”
“What?”
“I don’t care, because.. I love her so much..”
They are kissing again. “Oh, I’m late!” Mia want to get up but Nino pin her by placing both of his hand on the pillow, with Mia’s head in the middle. In other word, now- their face are inches apart. “Sir-chan.. I’m late..”
“I’ve called Sunako-chan, asking her to tell your supervisor that you are not well today”
“Eh??”
“You didn’t have good sleep last night, Mia.. I’m afraid that you will faint at the work place”
Mia smiles. “You looks better today.. you okay now?” Nino nods. “I’m sleeping on angle’s lap, you know..how can I’m not feeling better..”
Mia smiles again.
“Thanks to you..” Nino kisses the palm of her hand. They share another kiss together again, but then they stop when Nino’s phone is ringing. His manager calls him- telling his schedule for today- as usual. Nino takes his bath, wear his shirts and jeans together with the big bag and cap- while Mia continues her sleeps. She is sleepy- really. In fact, Nino’s bed is really comfortable. Additional points are given to the bed because it has Nino’s smell and Mia loves it, really much.
Nino steps towards his sleeping beauty again.
Mia sleeps soundly. Poor my sweet-beautiful-angle.. he bent down, kissing her forehead again. Caress her face. “Mia..” he just want to call that name even he knows Mia didn’t hear it.
“.. I love you..” he says it again and makes a move to the door. Before he left the room, he turns back. Looking at her again. Satoshi, don’t worry.. I’ve made my decision and I won’t let her ago, not even to you; my best friend.
On the bed, Mia’s eye still close but there are tears fall from her eyes. She opens her eyes slowly. I with keep the faith in you, sir-chan.. even my hurt will hurt tremendously~
Mia gets up. She didn’t want to stay there, doing nothing. If she didn’t do something, she will end up thinking about Nino’s gossips again. She knows it just a gossip, rumor, unreliable news or what so ever people want to call it, but somehow- it’s still hurting her.
Mia misses him.
Missing him a lot. Missing him so much. Missing him like crazy.
She wants to feel his existence in the near her so she heads to the room, next to Nino’s bedroom. Yes, his studio. She stands at the door- looking every part of his studio.
There, near the keyboard, she can see Nino is smiling. There- Nino is sitting on the small couch, composing new song by using his guitar. Still, with a smile. Mia smile ‘back’ at him.
She steps inside.
She takes a deep breath and she can smell Nino’s perfume here. She sits on the couch. Closing her eyes, relaxing her minds. I will not give up on him. I will be with you, always, sir-chan~
Then, she notices a small box, being hided under the table beside the couch. Curiosity is biting her feeling right now. She slowly takes the box. Place it on her laps and opens it.
Suddenly Mia lost her strength. She looks around. Everything is moving including the room. She couldn’t breathe. Her chest becomes tight. Every part of her body feels sore. She feels great pain in her head. She massages her head and cause the box falls down.
There- about more than 20 pictures of Nino and Masami together, scatter on the floor.
