No, no, no, NO, NO. You stupid, narrow minded, solipsistic woman. NO!! ARRGGGGHHH:WDJEHSPDGVY)#P(*%@&#)$&(*!@Q^#)(*UHCPQ!IYU@(#$P*!

Edit
Okay, to be fair, there were some reasonable criticisms of sloppy parenting, and the the whole article may have been written in jest. But still, ugh.

"Western parents try to respect their children's individuality, encouraging them to pursue their true passions, supporting their choices, and providing positive reinforcement and a nurturing environment. By contrast, the Chinese believe that the best way to protect their children is by preparing them for the future, letting them see what they're capable of, and arming them with skills, work habits and inner confidence that no one can ever take away."

More like, Chinese parents force something that interests them onto their children, regardless of whether or not that child would be interested in the first place. "They do it for the kid," my ass.

I just wanna make it clear I don't condemn the Chinese culture as a whole, just the "stereotypical" narrow-minded view presented in this bullshit (assuming it was written seriously) article. :p

My thoughts exactly. And that's exactly not a "pretty much what I reckon too" kind of way, but exactly what I reckon too. :B d

Freakin' overbearing Asian mothers, man. >:|
