Yocchin will be playing Kimblee in the FullMetal Alchemist 2009 remake.
The role of Kimblee was previously played by Ueda Yuji, who is also in this series,but as a different character... obviously.

Me, too, once I saw this! First I was like "OH MAN HE'LL BE AWESOME AS KIMBLEE" but then it hit me that "Whoa, I never even considered losing the voice actors was a possibility" D:

All in all, I think it'll be interesting and a lot still look like a good fit-- I'm... interested to see how Nazuka Kaori will be as Maria Ross |DD;

And as much as I love Miki Shinichirou, I'm going to miss Ohkawa Tohru as Roy :'(

Ehhh?! They are switching Ohkawa :O
I love Miki too, but Ohkawa just fit the role as Roy more. Atleast they aren't changing Paku, that would be a big downfall.
Btw, I haven't read and seen the anime for years....who was Kimblee again ?XDDD

WHAT THE HELL MAN!!! they changed alot of original cast in fma! eventhough the replaced it with my fav seiyuu, but it is still so hard to be accepted!! >.<
i want old cast back.............. it will be weird to hear, other people doing the voice....... huhuhuhu.......

but yocchin as kimblee is ok, i guess, since that char doesnt really appear that much in anime. I think this is a remake?

Yep, it's going to be more according to the manga, and personally, I do think he's going to be awesome as Kimblee, and while I think Ueda Yuuji can and will make a great Havoc, I'll also miss Yasunori Matsumoto ;~;
