Actually, it's more "Watson: Office" style since I observed the phenomena but can't figure out what they mean. Namely, there was a trail of evenly spaced light-tan thin fluid blots starting at the elevator in my building and running down the entire length of the hall an into another (attached) building. I'm sure Bec could identify precisely what kind of psychopath you're obviously dealing with - but that from her "Criminal Minds" watching, not from "Sherlock". :)

Thought of this post last night while we were walking in the snow - of course Bec wanted to follow the other sets of footprints and see where they led. We're now reasonably certain that one of our neighbors has a two-legged cat (it's the only explanation!), and that another was abducted by aliens.
