[MOD] Test Drive radio requesting project
Since the release day is getting super close. It's time to start this project!
We need a bunch of people living in US to work on this. The goal is to make a list of best selected local radio stations in US for fans to request Test Drive. We need contact information of each one, so that people can focus on specific ones and request Test Drive based on it.
*In case some don't know the difference between Bill board and Oricon, for Bill Board single chart, itunes&amazon downloads + radio coverage count for 95%, actual copy (if available) only counts for 5%.
Here is the whole list of US radio stations (that's a big list. We only need a few best choices for people to focus on)
here is one example of how to request songs
je_sugoi_suki suggested a few things which are very important imo. every one please read
"Majority of music is purchased from itunes, and majority of music is heard on the radio. These two media work in harmony, if you hear it (and like it) on the radio, you will buy it on itunes. If its not on the radio, people won't even know it exists, therefore won't buy.
I also think that besides regularly requesting the song in individual hometowns, we should also request it to radio stations in LA. If its big in LA it'll have the best chance to be big all around the US.
KIIS-FM-102.7 is the top radio station in LA (http://www.kiisfm.com/main.html) and the request line is :1-800-520-1027. I think this station should be the main target of requests. This station is like a leader, if it plays TEST DRIVE, then other stations will follow along and play TEST DRIVE too.
Basically, I feel that radio requesting is essential.
